Budget
Implementation of the construction of the skatepark requires the collection of adequate financial resources. The size of the budget depends on several basic parameters:
-technology of construction: monolithic concrete skatepark, modular skatepark
-the surface area of the facility
-additional landscaping elements
Construction of skateparks is most often implemented using public funds, that is, local government budgets and possible funding from the European Union. Ideas for the implementation of such facilities most often arise from the needs of residents and can be voted on as part of the civic budget expenditure planning.
When estimating the necessary costs for the construction of a skatepark, it is necessary to take into account not only the construction phase, but also the execution of the project. Professionally prepared design documentation helps not only to more accurately calculate the necessary funds for the construction of the facility, but also to avoid doubts and mistakes during the construction of the facility.
The first step before the execution of the project is the choice of technology:
Monolithic concrete skateparks are the most popular solution among users. The cost of this type of facility ranges from €568.18 - €977.27 net / m². Concrete skateparks made on site give designers the opportunity to freely complicate the geometry by which the objects meet the expectations of even the most demanding customers from each group: BMX, skateboarding, rollerblading, scooters. Designing a concrete facility is a cost of €11,363.64 - €22,727.27 net. The recommended minimum area of a concrete skatepark is 400 m², but there is no upper limit on the area, the larger the skatepark, the better!
Example of a large skatepark (650 m2) - Skatepark Brzeszcze
Concrete skateparks, thanks to the freedom of shape, give many possibilities in terms of architectural fit into the area intended for construction. In the case of a limited budget, it is possible to divide their execution of concrete skateparks into stages, so that the implementation can take place even at the turn of several years.
Example - Skatepark Kadzielnia Kielce
Modular skateparks are a technology that requires less work on the construction site and in the execution of design documentation. This solution allows the execution of facilities for not large budgets. A modular skatepark requires the preparation of a concrete slab with a substructure, the cost of which is about €113.64 net/m², and the delivery and installation of wooden devices. Depending on your needs, the cost of such equipment can range from €13,636.36 net to even €227,272.73 net. Surfaces of this type of facilities begin as early as 100 m², and the upper limit, as in the case of concrete skateparks, does not exist :)
Wanting to build a place that allows you to pursue your sporting passions and to spend time pleasantly, it is worth remembering to allocate part of the budget for the construction of landscaping elements such as trash garbage cans, benches or gazebos allowing you to rest in the shade. In addition, modern facilities are equipped with toilets, access to running water or lighting. Depending on your financial capabilities and the needs of the residents, we will be happy to help you choose the best solutions that fit within your budget at the design stage.
